This book was designed beautifully and has many great plates. The original 1994 book Drama in Design by Michael L. I purchased numerous books to aid my studies for the HVAC PE exam. This book is very well written, it is a great book if you want a general introduction to computational electromagnetic methods. If that's all you're looking for, you could buy a Pantene color book. The illustrations and commentary are wonderful. If you are a serious student of mid-century modern you need to own this book.. I don't think I'll ever feel the need to flip through it again..
