Mario F. Triola is a Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Dutchess Community College, where he has taught statistics for over 30 years. Marty is the author of Essentials of Statistics, Elementary Statistics Using Excel, and Elementary Statistics Using the Graphing Calculator, and he is a co-author of Biostatistics for the Biological and Health Sciences, Statistical Reasoning for Everyday Life,and Business Statistics. He has written several manuals and workbooks for technology supporting statistics education. Outside of the classroom, Marty has been a speaker at many conferences and colleges. I was repeatedly struck by Caroline's intuitive sense - knowing when she was off-course, and knowing when she was heading the Right Way. If you are going to purchase McGuire & Simon (and I can't see why anybody wouldn't that's serious about the subject), you really should purchase the Problems & Solutions guide in order to get the most out of the subject. The text is blochy heavy seriffed and is difficult to read. The story moved at a fever pitch, so putting the book down was not an option. Informative.. Her only ally seems to be a savage but oddly naive street fighter named Wolf -- and he turns out to have a connection to the people who kidnapped Scarlet's grandmother.
