Barbara Lee, a perennial student in the College of the Redwoods Creative Writing program, has been published in The Todd Point Review and in Good Words, a twice-yearly anthology. She is a thirteen-year member of the Board of Directors of the Mendocino Coast Writers Conference and the Registrar. The Seventh Circle is her first published novella.
Abandoned at five days and orphaned at fifteen years, Mary Kate Jackson vows on her dead parents’ grave she will keep the family farm. Her elderly neighbor covets her and the Jackson farm. He offers to buy her out. Mary Kate refuses. He does not relent. A deadly dance ensues wherein hatred is born. Forces converge to aid each in their quest, but Mary Kate attracts the attention of the Cherokee spirit people and the chief of the Wolf Clan in particular. The playing field is leveled with seven circles and the greatest miracle of all, forgiveness, rises like the dawn on the souls of Mary Kate Jackson and Thomas Ellsworth.

Excellent bookWould recommend it to anyone.Simple to read and understand. My son found it invaluable in his first year in college.. But
Everything is immediate. Anybody who is interested in getting past their victim status and moving on with their lives will
