She began flyig in 1941 and is still flying in her own Palms to Pines Air Race (31st this year) and today is the successful fundraiser for The Ninety-Nines Museum of Women Pilots. A flight instructor for 47 years, for 27 of them she was the President of Claire Walters Flight Academy, teaching thousands to fulfill their dreams, and many of them are now military or airline pilots, and many more are engaged in a variety of aviation occupations. She tells vividly of her solo flight in a small twin-engine over the vast Pacific from Oakland, California to Australia. Several of those books were rated higher than this one with many more reviews. However, this book does an excellent job of treating many complicated physical systems as well as can be expected.. The remaining 4 chapters flow easily but spend too much time (in my opinion) on things like mainframes, SaaS, Gartner models when that coverage could have been better spent on sample MRDs, PRDs, methods for requirements gathering and activities that a real life product manager would have to do.
