The articles are so good .I frequently clip them to share with my grown children. At the beginning of the novel, Manuel has disappeared, and actually the reader will mostly learn what Manuel is like through flashbacks and inferences. It concentrates on his life with LFC. Of course, it's possible that there's something even more
meretricious going on, and the publisher inserted the errors (all new
to the 11th edition) on purpose, so that the 11th edition could more
quickly be made obsolete, and replaced by an even more overpriced 12th
edition. _Spaceman Blues_ is about coming to believe in the power of the abstract, the intuitive, the magical. Having the exercises after each chapter was a great tool giving the opportunity to analyse and reflect on "feelings" as well as the practical approach to being self employed - to take a step back and look at things from a different angle.
