This book is perfect for all eating forms. I found this book to be a good tool to have once you have found the businesses you want to investigate. As their world tumbles around them, they come to terms with the unusual, the unexpected, the guileless and innocent ideas which rigid training and adult experiences have turned them away from, and which now may save them. Had to buy this book since I went to college with the author. She approaches the topic from the standpoints of food security, economic development, and equity. Makes a terrific gift to the right person. Her prose is strong and swift, full of delicate detailwork (the hallucinations of ice and death that constantly haunt poor Winter) and the odd funny moment (Carswell's roguish antics, including his penchant for "borrowing" things). That's why I gave the book only 4 stars.. He leaves no stone unturned and articulates his thoughts and points with brevity, wit, and oftentimes humorous personal stories. The softly watercolor ill
