I really liked this book. I know this books is mostly designed to be a text book but it also excels attracting regular readers like me who want to form their own ideas based on solid facts.

Most of the books about China is politically driven and writers just try to impose their opinions and/or presumptions (annoying as "facts") about China. Claire favoite:
