I don't think I'll ever feel the need to flip through it again.. Anyone who complains about this text has not seen the other crap that lurks out there. This gentleman had a ready facility with words and rapier wit that comes through in abundance in the book. More importantly, the new 'dysfunctions' that occur in the children of alcoholics begin a new family legacy that get handed down and modified over the years/generations.
This book provides insight on how alcoholism affects families down the road and shows what to look for. However valid this connection may be though, the messages shared in “Love, Animals & Miracles” is not derived from research in a clinical setting: the essence of this book lies in the deep, spiritual connections that every animal lover has felt with their kindred furry/feathery/finned companion. If you haven't already read a lot of said books then this is a good one to start with. I wish all books were like this so I wouldn't have to strain
