Not only does the book enhance and confirm my memories but it provides much information I did not know. The only one who shows her kindness is her old friend Jacin -- and when Jacin is commanded to kill her, he instead helps Winter escape her stepmother's wrath. Lots of ideas for the senior exercise class my daughter teaches. I am very glad I have this book in my collection, it has provided great inspiration, and the story of Rohlfs life and work is interesting to ponder and learn from.
